This document is a clinical guideline on malnutrition in elderly and senile patients, developed by experts from the Russian Association of Gerontologists Geriatricians, National Clinical Nutrition Metabolism, Union Nutritionists, Food Industry Specialists. The Scientific Practical Council Ministry Health Federation approved December 2020. recommendations are aimed at geriatricians who provide assistance outpatient inpatient conditions, general practitioners, nutritionists, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, pharmacologists, rehabilitologists. outlines principles screening, diagnosis syndrome, approaches to managing, preventing, rehabilitating patients with malnutrition, organizing medical care for this category persons criteria quality control its provision.
